Spring

It is offically spring. Both the calendar and the weather say so and we are loving it!

Around here that means countless hours outside:
It's been so fun to watch Ryan de-discover our backyard and his outdoor toys. I love his creativity. And I've never been so thankful for hand-me-down play clothes!

Last week Ryan caught his first fish by himself. He was so proud! David took him to a small creek by our house which pretty much guarenteed a catch. In fact, he caught a total of five in about an hour.
First fish...said he wanted his eyes closed for the picture...ha!:
Fish #2:Fish #5 - Let Daddy pose with the fish since it was small:Last weekend was Easter and we celebrated with David's parents:Easter morning...isn't my little man super handsome:The birthday celebrations also started last weekend for Ryan (he'll be four soon...yikes!). On Saturday we went to the War Eagle Cavern and celebrated with a tour of the cave, a picnic lunch complete with cupcakes and candles, and playing on the park grounds.
I pretty much walked through the cave like this (think of how David and his dad felt!):
Part of it was I didn't want to hit my head...the other part was I didn't want to hit one of these guys:We were told by the guide that we went at the perfect time to see lots of bats. He was right.
Happy Birthday:
Nothing like playing with grandparents...fun for all......even the parents:Happy Spring!! We are taking full benefit of this beautiful weather and are heading out to camp for the weekend. Should be fun!
