Florida Sun & Fun

David and I spent a long weekend in Fort Lauderdale, FL for his company Christmas party. It was busy and fun and the weather was beautiful. We kept forgetting it was December! The party was at the Harbor Beach Marriott on Saturday night which left us several hours during the day to spend on the beach (and get sun burned). The party was a Hawaiian theme which made it casual and fun. I enjoyed seeing David with his co-workers (and hearing all the pranks he pulls on them) and I especially enjoyed meeting some of the other wives. We had a great time and can't wait to do this again!

Dressed in our Hawaiian outfits ready to go to the party:
An "Arkansas Wife" as we each became known - Annette, me, Lauren. I had so much fun getting to know these ladies:David's college roommate, Joe, lives in Fort Lauderdale so on Sunday we spent the day with him and his girlfriend, Nicole. We did a touristy thing and spent the day on the Water Taxi and got off at several of the different stops to shop, eat, and walk around. And in true Joe & David fashion we ended the day at the Bass Pro Shops.

Thanks for spending your day with us Joe & Nicole! We had a blast!

Ohhh, that looks like so much fun! It's not near that warm here in Savannah! Oh well, I am NOT complaining. How is Joe doing? Is he a school teacher? I told J to e-mail Dave and get some updates! Love keeping up with you guys through your blog! Have a GREAT weekend!
