Camping

This past Saturday we took Ryan camping for the first time. It was an experience to say the least...you local friends, remember the major storm we had that night?? Yup, we weathered it in a tent and managed to stay pretty dry. I can't complain too much, the rain cooled it off some and Ryan slept through the ENTIRE thing!! He had a blast during the day despite being sweaty and sticky so that made it all worth while. And as David told him as we drove home early Sunday morning "camping can only get better!"

Getting ready for Ryan's first trip out in the boat...he did great...didn't mind at all wearing his lifevest:

I'm willing to give camping another shot as long as it is not the middle of the summer and the forcast isn't calling for "70% chance of heavy thunderstorms"!! Oh and a bathroom where I'm not sacred to walk in would be nice too!
