It's Thursday and that means one thing around our house...BOY'S NIGHT!! I teach a Body & Soul class every Thursday evening so David and Ryan have about 2.5 hours just for the two of them. When David leaves for work in the morning he reminds Ryan that it's Thursday and it's Boy's Night so he looks forward to it all day. And who wouldn't when they get to eat dinner in front of the TV and plays fun things like "jump zone" or race track in the garage or elk hunt. I always know when it was a "jump zone" night because all of the couch cushions and pillows are piled up on the floor and a dinning room chair is right next to the pile...you can just imagine!
Tonight they will be finishing the movie The Lion King. We started it last night and it is due back at the library tomorrow so there might not be too much wild play tonight. But they will enjoy themselves none the less! I'm so thankful for the special bond David and Ryan have and am looking forward to watching it grow over the years.
I'll leave you with pictures from the elk hunt...picture camo clothing, elk pictures hidden all over the house, flashlights because the house is completely dark, and crawling on your belly. That makes for a fantastic evening!
