Potty SUCCESS!!

We've made it! Ryan is doing so well on the potty! You can't even imagine how proud and excited this task has made me! We officially started a little less than two weeks ago and the first week was ROUGH. I won't go into details, but let's just say I cried, he cried, and David thought we were both crazy. And if it wasn't for David I would have given up and said he wasn't ready. Once we hit the first week mark it has been much better. He hasn't had an accident in the past four days and we now let him tell us when he needs to go. Gone is the kitchen timer (however he still says "what's that mean" when one goes off) and the plastic pants. Gone are the books next to the potty and spending hours each day in the bathroom. He has even gone for me several times when we have been at different stores (Home Depot has a nice family bathroom by the way!). He still needs to improve when at class...I think he's having too much fun and is distracted with all the other kids and activities. But I know he'll get there...I'm just still shocked at how much difference a week can make!

I don't have many pictures to share...I was too busy cleaning up or watching his every move to take pictures...but David got this one of Ryan and Maggie looking at a squirrel on the deck. He lived in those plastic pants for the first 10 days.
